About the Event
During this COVID-19 pandemic, our communities are being supported by frontline service workers. These every day heros are heading to work while the rest of us do our part by "staying in place."
As a nonprofit committed to community wellness, we've heard from many people who want to volunteer and support those people who are putting themselves at risk to keep us safe everyday but they don't know how. This Social Fundraising Drive is our response to that community desire to "make a difference."
The Giving In Your Heart Fundraising Drive is an easy way to demonstrate your appreciation for those in our community who consistently show up when we need them most.
This drive is a public recognition of the sacrifice made by all those people who don't have the option to stay home and practice social-distancing. It is a way to say thank you and to get them the tools and supplies they need while they continue to put themselves at risk to give us the services and care we need.
Getting involved is easy. There are 3 key ways you can take action.
- A social thank you. Post a public thank you to your social channel of choice (or all of them to maximize impact) & tag us to amplify the reach. Get Creative & Show them the community they are serving cares.
- Make a direct donation. Find out who in your network is part of the essential workforce and ask them/ their families how you can support them. You may be surprised how many people you know could benefit from your kind outreach & simple direct support of something they need like laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, or groceries.
- Donate to Our Giving In Your Heart Fundraising Drive. Funds we receive will be used to directly support and benefit frontline workers. We will work with local 501(c)3 nonprofits who are providing frontline essential services to support their staff with the resources they need to continue to serve the most vulnerable in our communities.
Help us to help those who consistently put community first. Is Giving in your Heart?
